True.. We are living in strange times. But there are quite a lot of fans who won't be taken for granted anymore.
Correct. No trust or credible Comms so it leads to worse case scenario thinking from fans. If you create a void then us going to be filled. The way the club's acted the last few years it's no surprise that it's a negative narrative coming from the fans

That doesn't sound like much of a business plan to me.

Not what I was saying my point is we're signing players with no income before the end of the season could go bust, we are spending money and cannot go into debt unless more secret loans.

Incredible that we’re offering 2 year deals yet are budgeting to run out of money half way through this coming season.

Exactly my point, their will always be the gullible who think they are part owners handing the club begging money cash, for them to waste.. But t he more switched on have seen the light. The club is spending its savings if you like with no income... It's just matter of time before the axe falls.

Hope & pray for a vaccine then, otherwise football clubs on mass, like other places of entertainment, face going out of business if the proposed crowd restrictions are in place for many months.

Vaccines take years to find and use and not always successfully, I hear what you're saying, but unfortunately their is no end in sight...and yes all these things are in real danger for the reasons you say Dave, but the other danger is mass unemployment once the propping up of the economy by furlough ends next month.. Football will be well down the list across the country for those with no money.

Interesting thread. With fans like some of ours, who needs enemies.

With people and things I love, whether that be friends, family, or football clubs, I find that patience, understanding circumstances, and the benefit of the doubt should always be applied. Otherwise life ends up being pretty miserable.

No misery here, but I will have my refund.

By hook or by crook.

It’s interesting as on the face of it you’re right but it is the WST who have generated reactions like this through alienating many fans and eroding their trust. I am confident the refunds are cock up rather conspiracy as most things tend to be but they have also made their bed in terms of encouraging reactions like this.
