The unfamiliar circumstances caught us on the hop, to be honest. I've never known interviews to be conducted on The Kop, and it didn't seem too windy when we were standing there. We'll be ready tomorrow!

Wouldn’t worry about what a few would say on here, they’ve been known for years to whine at anything and everything. I personally really enjoy the interviews you do, keep at it.

I honestly didn't realise I was a giggler: I guess I just saw myself as a friendly type of bloke. I see part of an interviewer's job to be putting an interviewee at ease, and as I've never met Thomas before I wanted to present a friendly face, but evidently it's something that has got under your skin so I will take your advice on board. To be honest, I've not been paid to broadcast since the 1990s, so I reckon you're probably getting what you paid for - sorry about that!!!

Anyway, I'll keep plodding on, and hopefully our string of glorious victories will make me up my game!

I think you do a decent job to be fair.
