Centre backs: Pearson, Kelleher, Vassell, Cleworth,

Utilities: Carrington, Jordan Davies,

That’s 23. I think it’s decent recruitment from what we ended up with last season.

There is opportunity to play a number of different systems especially as I think Horsfield could be the defensive midfielder in a diamond. Plus we have cover in all departments.

I hope they are fixing up regular midweek games as those not playing regularly will need to keep sharp. I wouldn’t be too surprised to see 1 or 2 out on loan but they need to go to Conf North teams as a minimum.

Players who have impressed me so far (from the limited footage we have seen) Hall-Johnson, Reckord, Bickerstaff & Jeffrey.

I think we have the fire power up top, but we don't have the coaching expertise to get them to achieve their potential....a specialist strikers coach a day or two per week may be the answer....cos Darlo can't coach over the half way line and Keates and Davies cant either! What's Ian Rush doing?

We are Conference , not premier league !! we cant afford a specialist coach .
