We are a super attractive investment. No debt, very good ground for this level with security of tenure and developments on the way supported by the council and WAG, a site identified for a new training ground at a peppercorn rent. And a decent fan base and very large catchment area.

Few clubs at our level have all that - and no matter anyone's views on fan ownership it is testament to the work that the trust have put in over the last eight years.

Ive no idea. I assumed there would be some sort of investment needed by the club, which is usual for capital projects. You are right though, it is another attractive element, particularly for people interested in the club for genuine football reasons.

Depending on WG, there could be a stand to build. If the new owners are into construction, they would be in prime position to benefit so maybe there's your £2 million

On the attached resolution, it’s worth noting that it’s mentioned this would bring the club “significant” increased profile and “substantial” commerical opportunities.

Sounds like it’s going to be someone huge. Possibly somebody famous or a massive brand/company.

Interesting if it was/is Savage. He was on football focus in and around the time of his retirement and the presenter asked him what his future plans were. He said he'd love to buy Derby County. They said what about Wrexham? He said no. Mind you this is almost a decade ago.

Has he even got that sort of money to throw about.

Alot of sensible answers to my earlier point (ie what is in it for them.) I suppose if you were looking to buy a club with potential in the none league or similar surely we should be near the top of that list.

Who knows. But yeah, you'd need a decent fortune to buy a club like Derby wouldn't you.
