Thats it. Im usually quite sceptical and im not anti-WST at all (in theory anyway there have been some questionable decisions recently) but im going to be positive about this!

We have the benefit of a decent fanbase as well as history and tradition, but we also arent saddled with mountains of debt. There is also the potential of a properly funded academy, there is a reason other clubs have been investing into youth projects in North Wales recently.

If there are wealthy individuals possibly with links to the area or the club, who are looking for a football project, then we tick a lot of boxes.

Invest £2million, improve infrastructure, increase revenues,
Gain two promotions and sell the club for a much inflated price

Anyone who can needs to vote to out vote the die hards who will inevitably vote against this.

Precisely. Andy Pilley bought Fleetwood as basically a pub team, playing on a field, no fans and no assets. He’s invested, taken them to where they are, got them good training facilities, academy, and a better stadium (which doubles up as an events venue), and the value of the club would now be astronomical compared to what is was ten years ago. It’s now a good asset to Pilley himself.

You forgot to mention winning the FA Cup before you dropped your crystal-ball!

My thinking to. Similar model to what Wycombe have achieved with American owners.

Also a big part of the infrastructure investment will be coming from the Welsh government in the form of the new Kop. That in itself makes us a more attractive investment.

You don't need to do anything - as long as you are a WST member and have a valid email address on the WAFC system, you'll get an email. Click on teh link at the appointed time and Bob's your uncle

My views on outside investment / purchase have been
long established on this site.
Two simple thoughts
Where is the 2 million coming from? Is it their actual real money or is it being borrowed ? If the latter then where is it sourced from?
Equally 2 million sounds a lot but in today's world it is peanuts! What is the supporting business plan?
What happens in a year or 18 months when the initial investment has gone ? What then especially if the journey to the promised land fails ?
Convince me with real facts and detail and i might support it but if someone wants to invest in the club then great but let's examine very carefully.
Ps before I am accused of quoting from the wst bible again let me restate I am not a member . I am an economist by background and a hard realist when it comes to money and investors. Also been a supporter for over 60 years!
