Just hope they don’t want to smash down Jonesy’s bar to take the club forward. I’d be gutted.

Thanks for bringing this wonderful day down for me.

The mere thought of losing Jonesy's Bar breaks my heart.

I think it should be kept as a deterrent to all those who want “fans” ownership to continue...

I've heard a good 'sauce' that it's Wayne from the Turf. He's been doing well with his burger van and he's got a couple of quid to invest.

I would be amazed if it is the owner of Moneypenny. A very close family member used to work there and have regular meetings with Ed. Firstly I don't think he is overly interested in football. Secondly, he doesnt waste a penny on something that won't yield a significant return.
Local businessmen who invest in their local club tend to be fans first and very rich second. He is certainly the latter but I doubt he is the former.

I have a family member working there. They are thinking of calling people who work from home back to the office has it seems they take longer to tale a call from home and they are losing money. It does not sound like they are going to invest money in a Football club.

Reading a few online comments it seems Quite a few Hartlepool fans seem to think it’s the same people that were looking at them a few weeks ago. Not sure why they think that mind.

At the end of last year I was told of a potential bid by someone at the end of a meeting at work. I dismissed it at the time as the guy is not the most reliable, although he is someone who knocks around with the sorts of people who are being mentioned. Im trying to wrack my brains about the people he mentioned it wasnt the Moneypenny owners though. Im sure he mentioned Mark Hughes tbh.
