It’s a simple majority I believe.

Only need a majority for the first vote not 70%!

Shambolic if true.

You must be on some odd sites.
Fans united poll is 100% in favour of moving towards the next stage.(Only 51% needed)
The final proposal will reveal the "Investors" their intentions and the trust boards opinions.
That's when the 75% majority is required by the trust rules.

That doesn't make me any less of a fan that a Trust member and I'm guessing the majority of true Wrexham fans are in the same boat as me.

The question I have is will Trust membership reopen after this first vote, or will the clubs future be decided by a very small percentage of the clubs fans? I think that if by some miracle the current trust members vote yes to talk to the investors, then the membership option to reopen to allow for a more fairer vote from a majority of the overall supporters and not just a couple of hundred people.
Its terrible isn't it if only the WST had put out a reminder at the end of May for people to renew and then a very urgent reminder at the end of last week.

By the way if you still had monthly payments (i.e. standing order) still active on June 1st then you should still have current WST membership. This is could be why some people thought there membership had lapsed and still have the email.

I've been a trust member since before we took over the club. A ST holder throughout the WST years. I attended (online) the recent EGM and AGM, voting in both. I didn't get the recent email about renewing etc. I read about it on here and tried to renew online on Sunday. Couldn't get the damn thing to progress passed the form. So now I don't have a vote. I've also got no income at the moment and a ST refund would have helped a little, but no sign of that either. Not happy.

The only "worrying" comments I've seen are about the final discussions and revealing the 'investors' intentions.
As long as the trust appointees do a decent job in interrogating the prospective purchasers and securing the funding rather than a promise of funding, then I think most will go along with the trust boards recommendations.

As always, the devils in the detail. Don't get too excited yet but it seems initially to generate some cause for optimism.
