You have to put Barrow in that list and now Stockport..

A lot of those who whinged about the above teams are just jealous because we had become the tinpot club under fan ownership living hand to mouth and acting like we are superior to them.

We live in different times where money talks, having a lot of money does not guarantee success, look how much money the clowns 🤡 in charge now have wasted in just the last year alone.

Really speaking if this is all genuine and as rumoured they are worth millions then hopefully they buy the ground from the Uni and demolish it and start again in the future as the ground as it stands is a money pit

I moaned about the backed clubs, called them fake and sold out and now it could happen to us I love it! Hypocritical to the extreme but after a decade down in non-league I dont care!

Let’s hope so. It’d be nice to have other clubs frustrated at not being able to compete with us financially for a change.

Long way to go yet though, we know there’s investment but how much beyond £2m will be the question.

If we get promoted from League Two then we might end up as a “plastic club” in league one.

Not the clubs mentioned but I would say with investment we could emulate what Lincoln have done. On paper we could get to L1 with 10K+ crowds.

Of course the main issue with any investment is that it is used right and IMHO the current set up can't be trusted with that money after the Ward money was squandered and the long list of poor decisions.

There's some small clubs in league one. Our attendances would be top half easily.
