I stand to be told I'm wrong but the Trust is the greatest ever benefactor to the club in its history. You are right, I would like to see the Trust continuing to do that but also being there for when and if needed. Its all potentially rosy but I just see the club at the centre of any concerns about funding.

Given our footballing performances, lack of strategy etc, I am not adverse to a change of tack (with regret) if it means the club flourishes but we need always to think of its saftey and security for generations.

It's perfectly reasonable for the prospective buyers to remain anonymous during these initial stages. Once the vote goes through they will reveal themselves in time for the second SGM and fans can decide one way or another whether it's a good deal.

It could be an unbelievable opportunity for the club, or it could be a false dawn. But to not even bother finding out is barmy.

No fan of Spencer. How do you know he has not been offered a job by the new investors ? Happened at Wycombe. The WST statement was strange and far too glowing about the anonymous people for my liking.

Exactly this. And they are not anonymous to the board. Its hardly like this is being done by phone calls from unknown numbers. The fact the board seem to. Be speaking positive of it tells me enough. As bagger said if it was someone shady it would have been leaked by now
