Not with this question.

The vote that needs 75% to pass is the one that will struggle.

Understood that we’ve been badly burnt before (terribly) but in this modern era you aren’t going to get anywhere without a few quid behind you particularly if you have no protection for your academy or even no academy!!

Think again folks
Reflecting on the fact the the guy who bought out Macc was himself (along with his wife) a very rich guy. Now........ Fans will have to wait and scrutinise.

I was referring to the second vote, actually. Surely it's a given the first one will pass.

Would the club still sell if the vote was no,They could if it was to the benefit of the club and either that or go bust.

I would hope the WST would spell out the consequences of rejecting the bid if they think it best for the club.

Hopefully, only a few fools would vote for extinction. I find it impossible to understand how we can avoid Macclesfield’s fate unless we have a big injection of cash to pay the increasing wage bill.

The club cannot sell without the members voting for a sale.
If, after the negotiations are completed, the WST sanction the offer and put it to the membership, then I believe it would pass. If there are problems with the financing of the bid and no guarantees of funding then the trust will advise against and the bid would fail.
The vote to move forward with discussions looks to be almost unanimous.

how come all of a sudden the board want the fans to vote. they ve always done what they ve wanted and said bollocks to the fans well do what we want because its our club not thiers. but i think that now they have realised they don t have the fans backing ie look at the build the budget. they have been a disgrace to the fans ownership with the lies, blatant money wasting. can t wait to see the bastards gone

Agree with most of the above.
This club will not fold.
If this bid is dodgy or unsuccessful in any way, I feel that the trust must wake up to the reality of offering shares in the club.
