Does anyone on this thread actually know a young person who has been seriously ill as a result of this virus?

By reacting as you do, you are literally ASKING your government to introduce a second lockdown, which will have much worse consequences than contracting the virus itself.

Don 't let your government infantilize you.
Are you a believer in QAnon by any chance?

Proper panic statement trying to backtrack. They know they're in the sh1t.

https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/54199351 BBC update

"Both headache and diarrhoea are listed by the World Health Organisation as Covid-19 symptoms.

Uefa, European football's governing body, states in its coronavirus return to play protocol document: "Anyone involved in a match who develops any symptoms indicative of a potential Covid-19 infection must immediately isolate themselves at their hotel and must contact the relevant local health authorities for guidance."

Hopefully Daffy doesn't use it as an excuse to punish football resumption in general.

It is people like you that are causing the second spike. Do you not realise that by dismissing the medical consequences and only bothering about the economic consequences you are creating the scenario for a second lockdown. As a matter of interest how old are you?

Sounds a bit of a shambles at the Racecourse. Doesnt reflect well on anyone. How we expect to get crowds back if we cannot pick out 3 sick individuals?

I'm not usually one to get the pitch-forks and torches out at the drop of a hat, but you're right, this was bordering on criminal negligence/ reckless endangerment of life. Hold their feet to the feckin' fire, WFA.
