You can sit in a pub at half capacity, but you can't sit in an open-air stadium with 10% capacity

It's clear that any new investment is going to be used to basically keep us in existence and not much else

I think we'll be promoted by default at this rate

It's more to do with the concourses and flow of fans. This has had to be factored into ground capacities not just stadium capacity, when clubs have been pre-planning the return of fans.

I don't see how that's a big problem if you're only letting in 10% of your stadium's capacity?

Think of what the ground is like for a low-key friendly, or an open training session, and that's with only one or two stands open, let alone three. Plenty of space to move around, adequate toilet facilities.

In pubs and supermarkets, you don't get anywhere near that amount of space.

Although it would mitigate the financial damage, even 1000 fans is a hardship for us. Unless we hike the ticket price by at least 50% or ask for an additional donation on top of the ticket price.
The teams who only ever get 700 to 1200 fans would do OK and Benevolent owners would help out.

Crewe were limiting fans to 800 on Saturday with teams, directors, stewards, medical staff and media etc within the 1000
