If I was one of the investors I would be backing away after that news. Why buy a club that may have no games or income for 10 months?
On the other side of the coin I am pretty sure that we won't have to pay players for the year as there are COVID clauses in players contracts.

Depends on the buyers, if they are after the club regardless they can use their extremely deep pockets to subside the gap and we would perhaps come out stronger compared to other clubs.

If its a Stephanie Booth type flash in the pan needing a season to fit in with her telly show type deal, then they might well run for the hollywood hills.
