That was the result I expected. Given what the proposal was I'm surprised even 31 people voted No. That is their right but its an odd one.

Default SGM PASSES 31 votes to 1223

Result now out

No abstaining, so good that has finally been worked out (!)

One additional point... If more of those 1200 had turned out to vote in the past, I don't believe that the WST Board, club board and WST hard-line would have been able to ride roughshod over the rest of us...i also don't think the health of the club, the division of fanbase etc would be as bad as it is today. Voting works folks, you have a voice.

97.5% in favour. Great! Everyone (almost) pulling in the same direction.

Pretty much as expected tbh, disappointed but not surprised 31 people voted against. Now the waiting game and the hard part begins.

31 against! Why?
At this stage there is nothing to lose.

31 idiots haply to see the club die in supporter ownership rather than just talk to an investor

I have a sneaky feeling the whole chester fan base of 31 have joined the trust to try and stop this from happening. So glad they only have 31 supporters.

I believe the reference to nominal value in the resolution would have upset a few of those voting no. People want something back for the club, I don't really understand why there is such a sense of entitlement.
