I don't think it is bizarre. They certainly intend to use this as a publicity vehicle and appear to be very up front about that fact. I'd much rather this than the slow death we face without their involvement.

These two look like they have very keen business minds. You look at Reynolds investments and they are very astute. I don't think they will be coming into this blindly throwing money away. They will have a plan and i imagine people in mind to run that plan.
