What is actually happening? Surely the National League will need to confirm whether the league is going ahead or not in the coming days as teams will need to prepare for saturday's fixture??

BT sport were reporting the National league will starts next week as planned but behind closed doors.
National leagues north and south objected to starting their fixtures without fans and that was still under discussion.
Lower than that they were told they could admit a limited number of fans. Haven't heard if that has changed, but would have thought that was highly likely were lockdowns exist.

As the virus is only active after ten o clock at night and can only effect every seventh person they should be OK. However, the virus also knows which country you are in so that may also have an impact.

Aldershot chairman has said there is an announcement on Monday or Tuesday regarding government help for teams at our level, I suspect this means games will be played behind closed doors for the foreseeable. Hope they get the live streaming sorted.

My bet is that the game takes place (Wxm v Boreham Wood) with no fans.

As excited as I am by the takeover, I feel this seasons squad will struggle to challenge for the playoffs. We look like a mid-table team on paper, which is a huge improvement on last years squad.

Eh? Where have I said anything in support of opening every ground in the country and taking your chance?

My dig is at the confusing and downright stupid rules the various governments have imposed which in some cases make no sense and in others are just contradictory.

It's a bit of a free for all. Hard to know how covid has effected everyone else's squads
