Default The "Not a Penny More" Brigade

I'm fundamentally a supporter of the trust model and sad that our Directors have handled the football aspect so poorly so feel that a change of personnel primarily and of course some possible cash for the squad is the right thing now. What I am concerned about is that from offer and initial interest the numbers have changed with lack of crowds allowed in.

So currently during this time when the clubs income is being assessed and I assume that the potential buyers are seeing if the club is viable during the pandemic, is that still the stance? I'm not commenting about that decision made by those people just interested to see if they will be assisting the club or waiting till a deal goes through before releasing their thousands?

The trust are obviously backing the buyers but are some of the fans backing the club?

So you're asking if people who refused to continue to put money Into the coffers under current ownership still feel the same way having had an extended close season and potential new ownership interest?

Nothing changed for me, because nothing has changed at the club in reality. You've still got members being singled out, like WrexhamO being booted from the SGM last week and a weak narrative being spun about it.

Until the behaviours change, my position will remain the same.

Nowt's actually changed yet, including still no Season Ticket refunds.

These two things would make me think twice about giving any money to the club at the moment. Really hope the deal goes through quickly and we're left with owners I trust more than the Trust. (Which is a sad state of affairs!)

So you’re asking if we should chip in a few quid to help save the club before it’s bought by two individuals with a joint net worth of several hundred million dollars?

Joking aside, the trust board need to explain what the alternative to the deal going through is? How will we survive the season financially if a deal isn’t agreed?
Surely they’ve thought about this prior to being approached by the investors?

no other entity would have been allowed to run a business down as we have seen, for such a long period, i dont want to berate those in charge, i want to thank them for finally doing the right thing and for their efforts, time to move on

I personally wrote to the board within days of the AGM highlighting a number of mistakes that they had made during the AGM process that likely affected my resolution passing. I provided email chains in support of all of my points and I believe my case was pretty conclusive
Until I get a response to that letter my funds will stay in my own pocket.
