Season Ticket Refunds

I have seen updates this evening from the Trust on the Investment discussions and on the UTST rewards.
I have not seen an update on the season ticket refunds.
Why is there silence on this from the club? They are running the risk of some fan or group or fans taking this further and seeking legal action. If they are having financial difficulties in meeting this refund and communicated that I think most fans may accept the situation and cut them some slack but I did the lack of any updates to be a real disregard for loyal fans, some of which may desperately need the refund

I think you are right-the till is empty !!

Hopefully now they will have had some money from the weekend they can sort out who needs what wrt the refunds of certain things.

I guess it’s not good telling the world you’ve got nothing in the bank.

It’s pretty appalling behaviour to be fair and a big PR own goal from the club.

Didn’t someone from the board recently say it would be sorted before the season started?

It's not the specific refunds (Barrow match included) it's the continuous 'extremely' poor communication to the fanbase that brasses so many off.

Personally I believe they are playing for time - hoping the takeover will take the pressure off them but the longer it drags on the better for the club.

An honest statement outlining the near to zero income, an acknowledgement that the claimants will get refunded in the future and some patience whilst the current crisis unfolds would appease the majority - to stay stum is appalling.

Prioritise those who are really struggling and need the money more than others and refund them first.

If we have no money it was crazy allowing Keates to have a squad of 22.
Any delay or similar worth the takeover could have serious repercussions.
20 players with youths as backup would have been sufficient -we even re-signed a third goalkeeper and imagine paying a portion of his salary.

If there is no money then will the players be paid at the end of the month? Will the rent be paid? Vat etc ?

How were we able to sign such a big squad of seemingly good personnel if the gills are empty with debts unpaid

The season ticket refunds are Debt, it needs declaring in any take over and if as stated they are not willing to take on any debt then it needs sorting before any take over takes place.
