your opinion but i disagree - referees are human (mostly) and will get swayed.

My point is that they were both not seen and would have never been given regardless of the crowd. Moreover the fact that we can’t find a way to beat them is so disappointing.

I’ve not been so disappointed and frustrated by a performance since the Macclesfield shambles under Gary Mills.

We have players who perform at the 5th tier of football. They aren’t good enough to play in multiple positions and different systems. If they were then they’d be higher up the pyramid.

They need a simple approach where they play to a system they know and roles which play best to their strengths. Teams that go up from this division aren’t entertaining generally they are well organised and play to their strengths. They don’t worry about how the opposition set up.

Good managers know this. Brian Flynn was never tempted to play Karl Connolly as a holding midfielder or Gary Bennett on the wing. Keates could ruin two promising young players if he stops them playing in their best position.

I want Keates to succeed because I want Wrexham to win. I’ve supported him but after last night I’m starting to think he’s on borrowed time.

He should have been on borrowed time since last season and then sacked. The three idiots in charge of the football side of things are already been found out yet again to be tactically inept with nothing really changing.

I want Wrexham to win but under the current set up its going to be a rare occurrence.

Its a penalty. He didn't give it because he didn't see it - same as when he gave neither penalty nor freekick for the Rutherford pull.
I will admit the only football i watch or listen to now is at our level. Don't watch any Premiership or league football. And i don't make an effort to search out changes to laws etc before each new season. I let people on Red Passion tell me them, its easier and less time consuming!

So last night would have been the first time i came across this new handball law.

Hence my confusion.

If the ref, or linesman for that matter, had seen it hit his lower arm then it would have had to be a penalty i guess.

For those that missed it or want to see it again, BT Sport are repeating Wrexham v Maidenhead tonight between 6 and 7 and then again between 10 and 11. Enjoy your day.

If I were manager I would have them all in for training tonight at 6pm. Make them watch the match till 7pm. Have them train till 10pm and then watch the match again.

It seems a daft rule, all the sky sports presenters are frothing about it. If you don't feel it should be a penalty...you would be right IMO.
