However, it is not certain we will have new owners and if that is the case and the deal falls through the cupboard is bare so don't think we can afford to sack off Keates.
If any deal we are well and truly f**ked. I thought this team would be able to get mid table and possibly a push for the playoffs. After last night im not so sure and wondering if it might be another relegation battle on the horizon.

Absolute rubbish once you started blaming officials for a crap manager it's time to pack up, a good player for us but out of his depth as a manager as is his PE teacher mate and that clown Darlington, get this take over the done before they see what a basket case of a club we are.

The only consolation for what's looking like another possible relegation scrap is we haven't wasted money on a season ticket.

We rode our luck against Borehamwood, defending slender lead.

Couldn't muster a goal against a poor on the night Solihull, played on Saturday on the front foot for 30 mins managed one scrappy goal and never tested the keeper with all our possession, hung on for the win the Keates way and last night night were second best at home to a team that has leaked goals.

I said it on here when he came back the tit that he shouldn't be anywhere near this club, he's worse than Hughes, least we scored goals under Hughes.

Where's Bobby Grant when you need him ;-)

Get you bags packed Keates stick to window cleaning.

Maybe it was that biting North Easterly wind making his eyes watery ? ;-) (was it cold last night)

Definetly I seen that he looked like he was going to cry his eyes out.

Now he knows how us fans have felt watching his boring talentless football.

He isn't worse than Hughes. Hughes is the worst we have had (Davies and Barrow aside.)

Sadly, we will have to endure more of this until the deal is signed unless the new owners are willing to pre-empt that date and authorise the current Board to sack Keates, Davies and Darlington. That would be sweet justice to see both parties to our plight end their misjudged endeavour!

The new owners have enough video from these first 4 games to paint the picture of neglect and decay that mirrors our club against our region. Time now to offer some hope by showing we can recover from the hole the WST has unfortunately dug these past few seasons.

Nearly everyone can now see how useless Keates is as a manager. The evidence was there before he left for Walsall, so for the Board to head-hunt him to replace the equally ineffective Bryan Hughes was bordering on insanity. We gave him a second chance and he has repaid us with the same negative dross.

He must go immediately so we can take the club forward. We may yet have to endure some further input by the current Board members after the take-over occurs. I hope it wouldn’t be for too long because one must doubt the sanity of anyone — myself included — who have either supported Keates or just given him the benefit of doubt. There is no doubt: he is a dead-weight that is rapidly destroying the players’ self-belief and our club.

Last night, we were the laughing-stock all over the world. Get rid now and bring in a new, competent manager and his support ASAP, so we can begin the Racecourse Revival!

Pretty much nail on the head.
I loved Keates as a player.
I even liked him during his first spell as manager (for a while, until the horrific football style became the norm).
I didn't even begrudge him leaving for Walsall.

But, bringing him back was insanity. he had his chance, he tried pastures new. We shouldn't have been looking back when there were likely much better candidates out there. It had to be a money issue, surely?

Anyway, its clear we are not going to improve under his stewardship so he needs to go as soon as we can do so.

He should have been sacked as soon as last season finished.

Keates watched Maidenheads' last three matches and still couldn't come up with a pattern of play to get a result. His interview speaks volumes of his incompetence.
