McElhenney dropping little hints again tonight on Twitter. Choosing to use a Welsh flag emoji alongside Canadian and American flags when wishing Reynolds happy birthday. I don’t think that’s a sign of somebody changing his mind. He is good at engaging people and his profile will benefit the club. He doesn’t need Wrexham for his vanity and neither does Reynolds. Owning Wrexham will not raise their profile. I suspect the thought of achieving something with us is their motivation.

As for local people I’ve seen nobody with this type of investment come forward in the 45 years I’ve supported the club. They appear to be genuine in their interest.

Any suggestions? Do we know how many of the 11 approaches the Trust turned down were from local people?

God.

But you’ll stomach a bunch of ideologists running the club into the ground ie the supporters trust.

A few decent local people, thats exactly what we do not need. Someone completely from outside of the area and no affiliation to the B/S brigade known as the Wrexham supporters trust.

That’s the future of the club now.

Your just gutted your friends are losing control!

Go and form your own fan-owned club then and play with like-minded clubs in a fan-owned league, where every club wins a cup that has “Existed 2020-present” carved on it every year.

Great to see the Welsh flag on his tweet
