Re: The balanced argument re takeover
yes it is a working class town, there may be few who have aspirationsto join the middle class but the majority are still working class, many of whom voted tory last time because the electorate, even though working class felt disenfranchised with the labour party

The working class have no real representation amongst the main political parties nowadays; hence the likes of the sneering Emily Thornberry and the upper middle class metropolitan politicos who have controlled the media for years. It isnt really any kind of secret that the working class are regarded as scum by the the powers that be, although Wrexham itself is not really ideally placed (imo) to grow solely in terms of a services economy, when there is so much competition in the south of the country as well as nearby in Chester, Liverpool, Manchester and the midlands to name just a few. Somewhere along the line, the economy of the town depends very much on the likes of us lower orders, and the football club, in particular, is heavily dependent on us oiks. |

Re: The balanced argument re takeover
my main reasons for voting tory last election, the only time i have done so, was firstly i was terrified of Jeremy Corbyn getting in, secondly the labour party went against the democratic wishes of the nation and in doing so suffered their worst defeat in 80 years that says a lot about the labour party not the electorate, finally i was really hoping that Tory MP,s in Wrexham and Flintshire would shake up the tafia in Cardiff and realise that a distribution of funding is required not just in Cardiff, though i am not sure if even that will induce the senedd to be fair
