No doubt he could and I’m not saying they’d “ do the dirty “ as there’s nothing worth having but have they any “ real interest “ and will that matter long term.

After all, what possible real interest in Wrexham could two actors from half way across the globe really have? Asking for another soccerball investor from North Dakota with nothing to do with his money.
Would they put their house mortgage on the line to save the club like some fans did? Just asking.
Reynolds could make a quick few million endorsing some rubber johnnies or some peanut butter. I don't think he's going to come over here to grind out million or so over years.

Whilst his background may make some say why us? His background and current money making ability also screams that he's not going to be here to destroy a club to skim a bit of cash from us that would be a drop in the ocean to him.

If you don't want this deal to go ahead then you'll be looking at fans potentially having to put their mortgage on the line again. Something tells me that there won't be so many this time around.

So would you rather the current setup stayed, despite the board minutes showing we may not survive with the lack of income?

Reynolds is on record saying he gets emotionally invested into a business he has a stake in and wants to be involved in each of them for many, many years. He doesn't invest unless it's something that speaks to him on a personal level.

I honestly cannot think of a better takeover opportunity for us.

They're putting £2m into a business that is ultimately failing. Talk about putting your money where your mouth is

They know it will take more than £2m just to get back into League 2 so I fail to see what they will get out of putting that in, we lose in the Play off's then they walk away.

I could see that happening for any "normal" investor with a wealth of maybe £20m who would want to cut and run before they lost any more money, but 2 guys who are world famous and have a combined wealth in the $100's of millions ?

It would make zero sense to them or us.

We will find out the answer to the burning "why us" question very shortly I'm sure but the end result is "why not us"

We literally have nothing to lose in this scenario (No assets and out of cash very shortly) so let's just crack on with it ffs

Whilst our situation is uncomfortable, it's not desperate. With the government handout and revenue from streaming we may well be slightly better off than with the poor attendances that the football generates.
On a more positive note, in reply to the above, I feel that there are a lot more sensible, thoughtful members, than you think, who will vote for the takeover after they've seen the details of the deal.
I hope that one of R $ R's conditions is the immediate removal of failed management.
