I can honestly say if this deal doesn't go through it will be the demise of the club who will probably end up in the Welsh league. Mind you some may like that the thought of a chance of European cup matches. WST springs to mind.

Maybe not the Welsh league bit but it'll certainly be the demise of the club. We were already on the verge before all this.

Can you imagine how angry people will be if a select few fools spoil this for the remaining thousands? After 15 years of misery this would be the straw that breaks many camel's backs.

Easy to blame it on "a handful of fools". Personally don't think this will be scuppered but IF it is then the fans who have let the WST rule without joining to challenge the status quo will be equally responsible.

I'm specifically talking about individuals who many posters keep referring to as trying to destabilise and undermine the deal before we've even seen the proposals

Haven't seen any posters trying to destabilise things, Some are voicing concerns that need to be addressed but there is a degree of hysteria from some quarters over the pace (or lack of) of the negotiations.
It will all come out eventually and the membership will, I hope, make the right decision.

What about those who tried challenging the status quo by putting forward motions which were passed but never actually acted on?
