Why would they want 100% to do this?

I think it’s just being given as an example of the only thing that would put some people off. I certainly can’t imagine sensible businessman thinking it was a good idea!

The WST ensured the survival of club and cleared the debt that threatened its continuation. I support the ethos behind fan ownership but recognise the need to expand horizons and seek outside investment. Mike Harris (TNS) wanted to buy the club and take it into the WPL, this was robustly rebuffed. The current WST board are not all the same people who originally negotiated the purchase of the club from Moss/Roberts, the membership has evolved from subsequent elections and resignations. Now is a good opportunity to go to the next level by accepting a cash injection from outside. These people are not chancers looking to plant a new B&Q, and could invest in anything from films to gin! They have chosen us ............lets enjoy the next ride!

the wst saved the club by creating a centre point for everyone else to donate money to, i thank those individuals who gathered in the supporters funds and used that money to ensure the continuation of the club, thankyou fellas, i think the clearing of the debt in one foul swoop was a big mistake, the wst should have negotiated with debtors to pay off the debts in a sustainable way and then use capitol aquired to invest in management and team, however as all funds were used to clear debts, the wst then found they had no funds to tick over let alone invest in football which resulted in secretly borrowing money, which was paid back but left the club in a position where we could not aquire decent football staff and hence the gradual decline.
When one factors in the various substantial windfalls that have been induced and being the highest/second highest supported team in the division there have been more than sufficient funds to have ensured league football, there is also the potential of Wrexham fc which has not been tapped, bad financial and management decisions have ensured the gradual decline of Wrexham fc to the point where we now face a real possibility of liquidation, fan ownership has not been good for Wrexham fc, it is a good and noble idea but has proved to be damaging to the club, harsh facts to swallow but non the less true, i thank the trust/board for their efforts, i sympathise with them for their mistakes, they meant well and still do but i thank them most of all for realising that time is up.

Bang on. It's not as if they haven't had the two main ingredients (time and money) to make a success of things. It would be an understatement to say it hasn't worked so time to shake hands, say thanks and move on. Anyone refusing point plank not to try and get this deal done and trying to influence others to do the same, quite frankly needs to be kicked into touch. It's not their ball, and it never has been.

The last 3 posts perfectly sum up our situation. I would even go as far to say that we are living in awful times, for many the toughest period of their lives, and this takeover gives them belief that maybe, just maybe, there are good times around the corner. Under the trust we are hopeless.

Does anyone know if we are likely to hear any more about the takeover this week?

Given the 'Why Wrexham' article on the club website i think soon, and this is part of the PR to get people to vote for the bid.
