If Keates went and the current board appointed a manager all you have to ask yourself is , what is the laziest option ?

My shortlist would be :

Jay Harris player/manager
Paul Edwards (brought in to get the best out of his son)
Dixie as a temporary manager on a 5 year deal
or the return of Dean Saunders now we have some money to spunk on the horizon

We are facing the very real prospect to losing to bottom on the league twice within a week. Baring in mind Wealdstone are now bottom.
I do agree with you but how much of a legend was Morrell? One bad season and he resigned because he put the club before himself.

Thoughts and predictions???

I can again see us setting up ultra defensive with one up top. Rutherford to come back in to start replacing Ponitcelli, Davies again played as a defensive midfielder, possibly Yusef to start if fit.

Honestly i can't see us getting a win from this and if we go behind well how often do we come back and win? In Keates mind i think a point will be a good result for him after Mondays very very poor game.
Maidenhead had conceded 10 before Monday so I wouldn't read to much into Wealdstone's defence especially when we tock up.

It will be a 1-0 either way IMO
