Default Travel Restrictions

If Dean lives in Wallsall and English people are not allowed to travel to Wales except for essential travel.
He is only managing a failing football team.
Can you suggest someone else to take charge of the home games due to the travel restrictions.
If they were successful ( surely it cant get any worse than losing at home to the bottom team in the division. Even if we lose today, at least we were playing awsy) can we please extend the ban to persons living in Wallsall.
So who should take over.

DK is the Wrexham manager - he is permitted to travel for work related reasons - professional football is exempt from travel restrictions which allows the manager and the squad to go all the way to Wealdstone yesterday / today and then return.

Why would someone 'take over' for a vacancy that doesn't exist ?

That's not true. If you are 5'5" and come from Walsall, you shouldn't be travelling to Wrexham for the rest of time.

Thanks for asking.I suppose I look back to seeing my heroes playing on that hallowed turf.
Brian Tinnion, Geoff Davies, Micky Thomas. Eddie May. Arfon. Reading Reg Herbert's column in the leader every Friday. Reading the leader (back page first) to find out anything about the mighty Reds.
I remember all the good times like Spurs away, Newcastle away, Beating Plymouty Argyle at home 5 -2 with Jim Furnell in goal for them. Playing Aston Villa when they had Andy Lockheed and Bannister playing up front for them.
I even wish for the bad times to come back. Like standing out all night in the rain for a ticket for the Chesterfield game. The game itself. The defeat at Anderlecht. Losing at Burnley.
I love my football club like so many others. I dream of little things like being back in the football league. Playing away to Rochdale and going to the chippy for a rag pudding.
I dont expect us to win the F A cup. I hope I am being realistic.
It saddens me when 11 blokes walk out there. They are not my heroes any more. They are just journey men trying to earn a living.
I suppose I find it difficult to accept failure and the position we are in.
I feel for my fellow supporters.
We are all suffering. It's been 13 long years in this division.
When we were relegated I bought every home and away programme for that season. Believing they would be collectors items as this would be our one and only season in the non league.
How wrong I was. Everyone makes mistakes. I just long for those glory days even a wet Tuesday away game to Oldham.
Thanks for asking.
I hope you understand.
I love your posts, by the way.

Your probably like many of us on here - seeking solace through our memories of the good times with fellow inmates trapped in lives of devotion and loyalty but surrounded with below par standards - apparently according to the official club site our last away game was against Stockport County in April.

Come the revolution comrades and I hope the lot of them get ousted never to return - we can piss around and change the manager and players for ever and a more but until the 'controller's' are ousted we are going nowhere - I am just glad I didn't have to pay for a season ticket this year - wonder how the refunds are doing - at least they don't run a brewery eh ?
