I also think Redmond is a player with ability, I just question his attitude. With Davies its far too early to make any judgements imo. But also sometimes young players just need more time.
Yeah agree on Davies, harsh to be calling him out after one mistake. It cost us a goal but he didn't lose us the game... A team of 10 outfield players (Lainton did nothing wrong) did that. Each one of them played some part in that loss so not fair to single him out. Consequences of his mistake were dire but getting on a young lads back never the right thing to do. If we see him do the same thing multiple times fair enough but let him have the chance to learn from mistakes, he hasn't really played much first team pro football yet has he

Redmond ain't good enough, proved that last term.

Apart from that one game late on when he played a couple of amazing passes for us to go 2-0 against someone

A scintillating and isolated 30 minutes

That would stack up if it was his first season with us

Very light weight for this team and league, personally I think the league of wales is where he will end up.
Davies is still a kid with potential. I know he is 22, so should be coming out of that phase, but he hasn't played first teams men's football.

I imagine, ironically, he would be one of those players who would do better at a League 2 club, with more professional surroundings and a stability that would allow him to concentrate on his game, and, worst case scenario, play in the U23s
I agree. He's been through a low period in his life by all accounts and needs a little support. You can't play for United youth for so many years without ability.

Well yes he did play in Salford’s run in and play off games and their fortunes seemed to change when he started playing, it looked a good signing on paper. People are allowed to get things wrong.

There’s a quality player in there but I don’t think he’s up to the pressures of playing for a club with expectations like Wrexham which is a shame.

Personally I think he's more than up to it. He's got the basics, can read the game, got pace and time on his side to develop into a really good player. To get him here for two years is one of the best bits of business we've done since Moult. I' must admit, I'm quite staggered some don't rate him, but hey ho.

As for Redmond, in terms of value for money, I'd say he is worse than McIntosh and Barton. All ridiculous and questionable signings in more ways than one.
