![]() I want Keates and Co gone as do most but if the investment goes through there is bound to be a change in management that will come with it. Changing manager now will just be further money down the drain. We’re not at the stage that we need to panic and put a caretaker boss in charge either, with only 5 games played. I think we just have to be patient and put up with dross that’s served up for the next month or two and change will come.

What if the Yanks don't turn up and pull out all together ? How long should we suffer ? It could be too late if we just keep hoping they will suddenly appear this week, next week the week after with wheelbarrows full of dollars. Unfortunately it's not just Keates that need to go - we need a xxxxxxxx big broom to clear out the deadwood and there's lots of it - but unless we get a takeover I can't see anything concrete happening. Can't see Spencer and co parting with Keates and his team at this current time. |

If Keates did go the best we could hope for would be what Pearson/ Carrington with Davies and Darlington. Can't remember what contract Darlington is on now but anyone coming in to the current set up has to work with him so that will massively narrow any candidates wanting to come here. The longer any deal takes to get sorted then the more damage is done by Keates. I wouldn't like this current mess to be rumbling on after the Xmas period as the consequences don't bare thinking about especially the prospect of Keates wasting more money on turd players. However if we get to 10 games in and theres no improvement I wouldn't like to be on the board. Ideal scenario is the deal goes through, film crews arrive and the first scene filmed is Keates, Darlington & Davies being escorted from the ground by security after being sacked. |

Best scenario for me is Keates being dismissed by the current board at the request of the new owners who take over and appoint there own man. If the new owners were to sack the manager then they would be on a hiding to nothing if their new appointee also failed to deliver. |

![]() The new board will make the decision regarding the team managers they want , if indeed the deal goes through.
They will already have somebody advising them here and will be aware of the current issues. I cannot see any action being taken before the takeover. |

![]() Absolutely. This was never going to be a rekindling love. As soon as points were dropped the knives would be out. Only folk wrapped up in their own bubble would think otherwise. A very naive decision from all involved, although we should be thankful, it's played a massive part in getting our club back.

![]() I was one of the few willing to give Keates the benefit of the doubt.
I understood why he left, I was willing to tolerate turgid football, providing we were hard to beat and the results come. Last season neither of these things happened but he needed to bring his own players in.....which he has done and we are awful. |
