He is dead man walking and he knows it..It wouldnt surprise me if he has already been told by the new regime that he will be replaced.Hence the tears Monday and the shambles today.
He is only waiting for his pay off

It is said that £2m is being injected into the club, but if you have to pay off Keates and his staff and then bring in a new management team+ new players will that just eat the £2m with no guarantee it will work?
You could end up in a worse position than now but with someone else owning you
That's just an initial £2 mill they want success and will throw money at it to get us somewhere near the top And thankfully it's early days in the season so plenty of time to right the wrongs of this awful manager and employ somebody who understands tactics.

The 2m investment is due to them buying the club for 1 pound. It's part of the contract, you can have the club for a quid if you put 2 mill into it. That is the deal to buy the club. What the owners put in after that will be up to them, but I would expect these two to put already 10 million into us in the next couple of seasons. Amazon will be paying for the documentary and that money will be like extra sponsorship. The world will be watching Ryan and Rob and they will pay to do so. The deal is a must.

I'm not sure you see how transformative being owned by Reynolds and McElhenney would be to this club in terms of stature. Just from the confirmation they were looking to buy us we were overnight news around the world, if this deal is formalised then Wrexham becomes one of the better known teams in America and we'll be the fashionable choice among younger people due to our owners and our underdog status.

What does that mean? Well, shirts will sell at a rate this club has never seen before. Our merchandise revenue could very well be more than the rest of the National League put together by itself through sheer media exposure the world over and, on top of that, the advertising space on the front of the shirt, and around our ground, will be hotly contested. Why? Because Ryan Reynolds would be photographed wearing it and appearing in our stadium at some point.

The £2m is an initial investment but their names attached to this club will create far more than that investment and this isn't even talking about the potential income of a documentary. I'll also add that I don't foresee either of them wanting to take money out of the club either - it's pennies compared to their income - and leaving a club like ourselves worse off would affect their image. They can't afford that in their line of work.

We could and obviously theres no guarantee of success. But if it stays like it is we can guarantee failure.

Its clear that Keates knows he is history if and when the new investors take over....maybe he is trying to scupper the deal by making our performances so bad that R&R get cold feet?
