Re: Keates do the right thing
The 2m investment is due to them buying the club for 1 pound. It's part of the contract, you can have the club for a quid if you put 2 mill into it. That is the deal to buy the club. What the owners put in after that will be up to them, but I would expect these two to put already 10 million into us in the next couple of seasons. Amazon will be paying for the documentary and that money will be like extra sponsorship. The world will be watching Ryan and Rob and they will pay to do so. The deal is a must.

What does that mean? Well, shirts will sell at a rate this club has never seen before. Our merchandise revenue could very well be more than the rest of the National League put together by itself through sheer media exposure the world over and, on top of that, the advertising space on the front of the shirt, and around our ground, will be hotly contested. Why? Because Ryan Reynolds would be photographed wearing it and appearing in our stadium at some point. The £2m is an initial investment but their names attached to this club will create far more than that investment and this isn't even talking about the potential income of a documentary. I'll also add that I don't foresee either of them wanting to take money out of the club either - it's pennies compared to their income - and leaving a club like ourselves worse off would affect their image. They can't afford that in their line of work. |

Re: Keates do the right thing
Its clear that Keates knows he is history if and when the new investors take over....maybe he is trying to scupper the deal by making our performances so bad that R&R get cold feet?
