Rock And A Hard Place

Keates and the current managerial set up need to go of that there is no question. Same issues as last season have not been addressed and its already looking like relegation form.

We have possibly going through a takeover that could put much needed funds into the club and a path to a much higher level.

The issue is how long under the current set up can we keep going with Keates and his anti football before he has to be sacked? Can we even afford to sack him and get rid of Davies and Darlington under the current set up? Can the board be trusted to bring in a proper manager?

Any new owner just needs to have watched the last two games to know what we have managerial wise is nowhere near good enough, hell i think even Spencer and his ilk know Keates has been a catastrophic mistake not that they will admit it.

So what do we do. Sack now and risk another poor appointment or risk Keates driving us into the relegation zone and then someone proper having to come in and save us?

Trying not to even think what will happen if the deal dosen't go through.

We just have to be patient. I estimate we should have new owners somewhere between the middle of November and the middle of December. Probably a maximum of 10 leagues during this time probably 5 if its November..Season can be turned around quite quickly then and we can certainly reach the play offs

Not sure about the answers to some of your questions, but this is a pretty obvious one!!

They have to be removed now, we can't afford to leave them in charge for another 10 f in games...that would be madness. We have to take the risk of installing a caretaker manager whilst the take over is sorted.

.....maybe Pearson as a current player and then let the new owners install their man when they finally take over.

I agree.

The whole coaching team needs to go now, whilst it is still possible to coach the players properly and save our season. There are plenty of high quality managers out of work and if R & R’s advisers have some input, any caretaker manager is unlikely to be an ex-player who has no experience of successful management at this level.

I am really worried now that R&R will find an excuse Not to Buy the Club . :(

Only good thing about us losing that i can see is that R&R will be thinking this improves the potential rags to riches story. Only positive i can muster up at the moment
