Wrong people at the helm. I saw the warning signs when John Roberts wasn't retained as CEO soon after the WST took over and this was followed by the departure of Don Bircham and Barry Horne. What was left have shown that they couldn't run a piss up in a brewery☹

Trust can't back out now without knowing the consequences from fans it will be an uproar on an unbelievable scale. Demonstrations would be just the start, followed by the the unruly mob who want to rip the ground up.

Fans owned means no money, hence closing everything down that costs money to run i.e. full time professionals running the club, training ground, youth setup etc.

This combined with individuals with an ideological view of fan ownership and closing their eyes and ears to outside investment have led us to where we are today.

If the takeover fails to go through we are well and truly up the creek without a paddle and in the nightmare scenario for our once great club; No money, no gate receipts, mounting debts followed by drastic cuts in budget, part time players followed by regional football.

either that or liquidation and a phoenix club and from the reading of trust minutes if every effort is not put into ensuring the takeover is successful, then liquidation is the only way to rid the club of the ideologists whose selfish beliefs are more important to THEM than the club is to the majority of fans
