Interesting to read that LJ who was brought in as secretary to organise the AGM is making proposals and virtually running the meeting🤔

"LJ proposed that we inform the membership that we have had several approaches to acquire the club. Board members rejected this proposal on 2 grounds. Firstly that it may provoke a reaction amongst fans. Secondly that it may scare off the potential buyers. No action to be taken."

Re: WST website down?

From reports above am pleased that LJ did make such a proposal as opens / transparency because honesty is key to a Supporters Trusts credibility.

Rather concerned that the WST board made a decision to dismiss LJ's proposal as they have only recently been elected on the basis that they would be open with the membership and improve their communication skills.

Don't be fooled. He will make every attempt to scupper this deal if there is no WST involvement in the plans

Concerning that the WST Board think the 'potential buyers' are flakey enough to be 'scared off' by fans knowing what is going on historically.

Very odd bit of business.
