The deal must happen but of course there have to be clauses in there for some form of protection. I don't care if we play in pink so long as we are properly funded with a board that wants progress on and off the field and a manager that reflects that. As we all know the american model for sport is much more mercenary than our football with the exception of MK dicks. I can only hope that the current 'owners' do their job in framing a pragmatic solution that doesn't completely prostitute the club but allows the ham shanks to inject some proper sense of commercialism and foresight into our club.

As I’ve said before, there are some supporters who would be happy for us to be playing in the Welsh National League, £1 million in debt and about to do a Macclesfield or Bury, rather than accept that the WST have given it a go but failed. I have been a member of the WST since the start, given my hard earned money to Wrexham and raised funds for the club and I accept that in the current circumstances, we have a way out of this current situation. If board directors tell me that if it goes through, it will be the best thing to ever happen to the club, that is good enough for me. Some of the posters on here need to come down from their former ivory towers and realise the world has moved on. You’re worried about what will happen in 5 years time, I’m worried about what will happen in the next 6 months if this doesn’t go through! If you vote this down, the club will go bust! Simples. Watch the Bury AFC documentary and see where they are playing. If that’s what you want, I hope you can live with yourselves.
