There's loads of safeguards in there.. they have to get WST permission to change any of the following:

- home red kit
- location of ground more than 2 miles away from Racecourse, or outside of Wales
- changing badge or club name
- transfer of licence requirements for WAFC to compete within the English football pyramid system
- Any decision not to hold an annual event to commemorate the Gresford disaster

but most importantly:

- In the event that the Buyer sells a controlling interest in Wrexham AFC to a third party, the Buyer shall ensure that the terms of the sale documentation with the new owner include the covenants detailed in paragraphs 4.1 to 4.7 (the things listed above).

So not only are the safeguards in there, they have to be transferred to the next owner.

Literally no reason not to go for this now.

success on the pitch is not something they can directly control compared to say pledging not to change the kit colour etc
