I think this perhaps sums up the split between a (hopefully small) minority of Trust fanatics and the rest of them. People like Paul Cox see the club as something where the most important thing about it is that they own it. People like me see the club as something where the most important thing about it is that it has the best possible chance to succeed and to be around for future generations.

Maybe the argument should be “I own my own house, it’s sort of falling apart though, a man has offered to buy it, spend millions on it to do it up, and sign a legal contract that still gives me control of living there, moving it, redecorating it and he’s actually a really well known philanthropist and businessman, I’ve decided to say no though”.

The analogy doesn't work in the club's situation at all. It isn't a property for starters and I doubt Paul's house is going to be putting him in a projected £500k loss come the end of the season.

I think the trust have done a great job in getting the protections in the heads . Also for the new shareholders to put their money in in non redeemable shares is a big move .

They appear to be genuine people , let’s not waste a great opportunity.

Just look at the clubs who have had a decent shareholder , with a successful business track record and money who then have taken over a club and have driven it forward .

Simple from my perspective , do I want Wrexham fc to be successful , will Wrexham as a town be better off .

It’s yes on both accounts

Anyone saying but “we own the club” , my view the trust is exactly that , holding the club in trust for the future .

We won’t see a better opportunity for Wrexham fc

I was a Trust member, then left due to similar reasons many have had. But i renewed my membership when the original call came as i knew something big was happening.

Its a no brainer for me, i will vote Yes.
Lets hope 75% or more are of the same mind.

I couldn't care less about no longer being an 'owner' of our club. I want our club to have the best chance of survival and success for my kids to appreciate as they grow up.

This deal offers probably our only chance at achieving that.

EDIT: Plus, both my kids love Detective Pikachu so i have to vote yes....

Very interested to hear how R&R envisage the day to day running of the club.

Who will be entrusted with this critical role (CEO) ? Please don't tell me they are considering Spencer ?

I like you renewed early summer just to be able to vote to try and change things for the better, pity others hadn’t done the same we wouldn’t be in the arse twitching situation we find ourselves now.
Having said that all I want is to go home of a Saturday night not kick the cat out and jump down the other half’s throat.

I would kind of prefer it if the trust asked for questions to R&R to be submitted in advance of the meeting next Sunday so they can select all the key questions to ask such as have you lined up a professional CEO who is able now to be appointed within days to begin the transformation of the club?

Once the CEO is in place the rest follows but we need a proper professional one ideally with experience of running a successful club or other business.

Come on down Mr Moore.
