The issue is he was threatening to cause a stink once the details had been released. Hopefully whatever loophole he thinks he's found can be shut so we're done with this crap.

Nail meets head, if it was because talks took place ahead of the vote - stupid rules - then I hope he's realised he could be seen as being part of the problem. So, hasn't a legg to stand on as he should've said something far far sooner.

We may get a number of things if this goes through but “getting our club back” won’t be one of them. When the new owners tire of this project and move on to their next as they surely will (hopefully leaving us a couple of leagues higher) you and I won’t have any say in what happens next. Which is why I think those few but loud posters wishing to see the destruction of the trust are letting their ingrained aversion to community ownership cloud their judgment. I hope the trust continues with a healthy bank balance ready to step in if needed in the future. Their challenge will be maintaining membership income when the benefits may not be immediately obvious.

I'd rather have no say in a successful league club than 'pretending' that we have one in a failing non league club.

Just imagine being able to come on here and purely discuss the football, who we’re playing next, who should start what games etc.....

Perfectly put. That is the essence of the choice in front of us.

Your entitled to your opinion but nothing grows without taking an element of risk. Whilst you could argue there is little risk with the trust at the helm, there is also stagnation at best.

Sport should be competitive and we aren’t. This is probably the best offer we will ever get from private investors. I fail to see any reason not to give it a go. If it goes tits up in 5, 10 or even 20 years, Wrexham will still have a football team at some level.

Fortune favours the brave, no business will every grow without risks, there is no real risk now and unlikely to be one for a very long time. We have time to prepare for this future and that’s where LJ’s and others efforts should now go, and in doing this would strengthen the support of the WST once more. However a continued fight will weaken the Trust and result in very few fans supporting them ever getting back in control.
