Default WST- the next chapter?

Should the trust look to form a club to play in the Welsh Pyramid? Not as a rival, but as a community club to keep the ethos alive.

Ethos? The spirit of a community club with the WST in charge died a long time ago. Should still keep it going as a supporters group but nothing more in my opinion.

absolutely not. There's only one team in Wrexham, get behind the club this is our big chance to build a future for the club and let our younger fans experience the highs that some of us older fans were lucky enough to live through.

Hopefully the new owners will use the fanbase to continue some of the great work going on via the volunteer fanbase and we can re-establish the centre of excellence/academy and accelerate the production line of talent we once benefitted from so greatly.

Hopefully in 2 or 3 seasons we will have a new Kop stand, a bigger stadium and be playing better quality football in a higher division. COYR!!

Spot on. The WST must support Wrexham AFC, not create an alternative.

Wrexham Olympic perhaps who historically are the real Wrexham.
I don't think they had an academy team !! but they did win 4 -1 at Anfield.

There is a role for the trust. It could be in a number of areas.

Development of the Groves if the new owners still want to use the facility.
Sponsorship and support for the CoE which could potentially provide opportunities for producing our own players.
Helping the families of some underprivileged kids with fees for the CoE rather than losing them to local clubs. I'm sure BV would approve of that.
Representing a section of the fan base in discussions with the club.

I think these are brilliant ideas to be fair.
