They're giving us one peppercorn for the club. As you say they are "effectively" paying £2m which the buyers can use as they see fit. This is small change to the two individuals concerned.
I'm looking forward to their presentation so that they can clarify their motives.
We will have no say in how the club is run in the future , I can live with that as long as it's run well , not as a plaything for two people who might lose interest in a couple of years.
It's got to be an improvement on where we are at the moment.

The current leadership do not have the skill sets or financial clout to realise any value our club may have. Allowing the club to benefit from the £2m put in is "paying nothing" in the eyes of ideologically driven few.... the same thinking which has dragged us down to the lowest point in the club's history.

Exactly, that will be the plan.

At the moment it’s a plaything for a few with no money, so i agree it’s definitely an improvement on where we are today

If you read the information provided by BDO in the members pack they value Wrexham Football Club at £2m, so that level of investment hasn't been plucked out of thin air.

As Fog says, they are effectively paying £2m, it's just we as the current owners are saying we'd rather that be invested in the club than paid to WST for the acquisition of the club. Everyone's a winner.

Some people are saying we should 'demand a big fee' but surely that would mean less money available from the investors.
We have been a total basket case, not for years but decades - poorly managed and have stood still whilst all around us have moved on, in many cases we have been overtaken by much smaller minnows - even going back to the Boston game - we must never allow this to happen again - well it sure did.

I don't feel we have assets - memories, the brand name, history but not much else - selling off the family furniture eventually results in nothing left to sell.
A three sided stadium which must be costing a fortune not only in rent but upkeep too - I wonder if the new owners will throw a lump sum at Glyndwr and regain control of the stadium lease ? if I was them I would do it as priority and get that Kop stand built - regain some control - all down to money at the end of the day.

2. Good
3. Can say the same about any owner. Crystal ball required for that one.
4. Their reputation and standing is the biggest thing we have “over” them.
5. We will have to see their vision.
6. Focus on community projects and stay out of the way would be my advice.
100% spot on!

Effectively, the club is worthless without the investment, it is a loss maker without any real assets.

They're not being gifted a £2m business for a peppercorn as some are trying to portray it as. They are making it a £2m valued club via their own investment.

In actuality, what their global reach and influence can bring to the club is probably worth more than the actual money they are putting in.
