Just read it on FB via a Daily Mail link (sorry not a Mail reader but headline caught my eye). Not able to do links it's a age thing!

Just googled few sources report it eg sports bible. They need to reduce their wage bill by 170million to avert bankruptcy in January

Very interesting article on how Wimbledon have overcome the odds and are returning to Plough Lane with a new ground.
Just think what we might have achieved with a more dynamic board and supporters that didn't spend their time being totally negative.
You can’t blame the supporters that your ideology is terrible, your board are useless and don’t deserve to be anywhere near leading a business.

This hasn’t worked because of those running it nobody else!

Fan owned clubs can and do work. There is nothing wrong with the ideology. In our case the failings are down to the board and their management of the club. I seem to have in my head that there is a correlation between the removal of outsiders (Bircham et al) and the speeding up of the decline which sees us where we are now.
One could blame fans for the situation, in the apathy that has seen the board repeatedly re-elected. But you could say that is the nature of football. The despondency as one season ends replaced with hope as the new season starts...we'll give them another 12 months.

Hopefully they have only 2 weeks left then new beginnings.

I think if we’d had a more dynamic board (and competent one) there would be a lot more positivity from the fan base. For me, even the most positive and optimistic of fans would be struggling to keep a lid on it now.

I think we did have positivity from the fan base after the initial WST take over and maybe for several years after. I personally think fans ownership could have succeeded and might still, but not in it's current state something is wrong and I feel the club is in decline. A lot of the fan base have been put off fans ownership by the current state and/or it seems by being treated unfairly by the incumbent board.

I'm not married to the ideology of fans ownership, what I wanted when we all stepped up all those years ago and still want now is success for my club, our club! In my opinion we've been offered what looks like a golden opportunity for that success and we must take it.
