Very interesting article on how Wimbledon have overcome the odds and are returning to Plough Lane with a new ground.
Just think what we might have achieved with a more dynamic board and supporters that didn't spend their time being totally negative.
Good lord almighty. You are away from here for a while and look what happens.

Please can you explain how 'negative fans' have in any way shape or form influenced the multitude of dreadful and mind boggling decisions the club board have made during say the last 5 years?

Did they read RP and Facebook and act in spite? "Think appointing Mills was bad, well watch this, we'll show em" as they appoint Bryan Hughes / Dean Keates / Graham Barrow.

Did fans negativity force them to tell the fan base bare faced lies such as the Ricketts/Barrow debacle and the secret loans? How did that work?

Did the negative fans somehow (ignore the fact its self defeating) force them into ignoring a members resolution regarding the disabled platform?

I'm absolutely fascinated by this conspiracy theory and look forward to your reply.

Surely 'negativity' manifests itself in attendances and refusal to engage in fundraising both of which we have consistently seen in incredible numbers ?
I fear these people just like to take a contrary stance. Everyone is entitled to their view but this is a misrepresentation of the facts not a viewpoint.
When Phil and I agree it must be total bollocks

Didn't we lose money on the last Xmas raffle? And I seem to remember people saying attendances were false as they included season ticket holders who weren't turning up for games?

False is the wrong terminology. We count those who had paid on the day and those who had STs, regardless whether they attended. Presumably, that equates to revenue per game, plus VAT owed.

Also its not something that only we do, all clubs in the National league report attendances in this way. I think its league rules.

False the wrong word sorry, the attendance figure didn't reflect the actual number attending although I know it is the correct thing to do my point was about falling attendances

No probs. Agree our attendances are in decline due to poor results and awful football.
