I'm not criticising that they couldn't pay because I get its an usual time right now... I'm challenging the statements around our survivability (from members pack for this weekends vote). I am however critical about their delay in providing an update. People kept in the dark too long.

I think this is the first update they have provided since June when they asked people to decide if they wanted a refund or not as usual the comms has been woeful.

It is.

On the survivability... I feel its a bit misleading to be telling us we are in an acceptable financial position yet as little as 20 to 30k would significantly weaken our position.

Equally I find it hard to accept that they couldn't even provide an update on this, but still went out an assembled what they termed themselves as an exciting squad this year. Now I accept the main purpose here is to play football, but its akin to borrowing a mate 50 quid, then a couple of months later you're a bit strapped while your mate is out every weekend living it up whilst dodging your calls. Many of us have been in that position in the past and it's pretty infuriating. I've no doubt that some people might have really needed that money sooner.

Does not explain how they managed to spend the 1.8m Danny Ward windfall and have no success and nothing at all to show for it.

When the takeover comes what happens to any balance in the club accounts , this is possible as we will probably have had a couple of the £90,000 payments from the National lottery as well as early season merchandising takings. After outgoings there could be a bit in the kitty.

They are buying the club, both it's asserts and liabilities. Cash in bank becomes that of the owners, just like the debt.

Lawyers on both sides will perform due diligence to check what is the correct figure or more than likely in this an agreed one.
