Re: Wider fanbase cant watch live but documentary crew can record the meeting?
I’m sure the best bits will eventually hit the documentary - so yes, in a way.

Re: Wider fanbase cant watch live but documentary crew can record the meeting?
Not requested I don't think I have heard that other media have requested and been declined though. Hopefully it was an open bidding process for that decision as Gannett Mega Corp PLC have more cash than Reynolds if it was a bidding war
More seriously I think it is pretty odd that you can have members booted from a previous meeting, and this is a high profile presentation on what the future of the club could look like and the wider fanbase is not being informed. I can accept a closed member meeting for that, as that is proper process. However to make it a condition of *entry* to that meeting to agree to the record is very odd. That is not join, agenda item 1 a vote on recording and allowing footage to be used in the future, then proceed... nope... it is agreement for entry. |

I am sure clarity will emerge - there are a few mentioning the odd requirement to this meeting - and some have quite high appearance fees and complicated image rights deals in place

I think you are wrong. The other party are not part of the WST yet. They would need the approval of the membership as would anyone else who wished to 'broadcast' said event.

WST booted said member, me, out incorrectly. They have since apologised for that and for then Secretary Lindsay Jones' email (where he read and replied to an email sent only to the WST chair without authority to do either) who stated I had been targeted for being vociferously anti WST. Nothing unclear there at all. |
