This. I think just from the way they spoke last night. Ceo will be first decision made.
I personally think the ceo decision os already made whoever it is. Then we'll see things moving

Yeah I have no idea what the obsession is with the Cowleys either.

It's not as if their achievements in getting Braintree to the playoffs in this league on a shoestring budget has anything to do with it.

Or the promotions from the National League and League Two with Lincoln.

Or the fact they left Lincoln after achieving promotion to League One to take on sinking ship Huddersfield, steering them clear of relegation from the Championship which they seemed destined for, before being harshly sacked.

Yeah it really boggles my mind why people want them in charge.

Keates will get a crack at it under the new CEO so he has a bit of time in hand. After that he will be out.

We can start actually interviewing people for the position, I expect we will be able to offer better money and prospects than we ever have. I certainly wouldn't go head hunting the Cowleys!

I hope you are completely wrong. He should be gone with immediate effect and someone like the Cowley's brought in. Don't care if we have to head hunt them. As the two R's stated - we are impatient for success.

What decent level players and coaching staff are going to want to play and work under Keates? That's a serious question. No one with a good reputation in the game is going to be lead by a clueless coach. He needs to be given the boot straight away and lets face it, if this deal is done by Christmas, could you imagine what a mess we will be in the league. His stewardship has been nothing short of abysmal 2nd time round.

We could always give him a big budget and he could fill the team with even more Kwame Thomas types, new contracts for Dibble and Rutherford etc. GET HIM GONE!

I think the CEO will come in and get a feel for it first, identify what we need (which wont be Keates) and make changes accordingly. It depends on what they know already, and what they have lined up.

I don't get the huge obsession with the Cowleys either. I personally don't know enough about them to say they are 100% who we should be looking to appoint however. I just feel we should be looking for a manager to pitch to us about how they are looking to take us up. Not just giving it to somebody on a whim because they are cheap like we have done so many times before.

I hope I am wrong on both fronts. They know Keates is not the man, and they have a manager lined up.
