Get football experts in to run the club (as I'm sure they will) like a chief exec and possibly a director of football and make them accountable like most sane clubs and businesses do. That's what 3PM has been calling for and he's right.

The fans had their chance and blew it and I don't want the WST anywhere near any decision making whatsoever as they've proved time and time again how incompetent and utterly useless they are.
In fact if I had my way the WST would be wound up never to be seen from or heard again because they have become poisonous, vindictive, out of control and generally dangerous for the club.
Agree with what you say and I do worry that Harris and Co will try and keep some form of control but a new savy CEO will soon see right through them .

Medium term, we should aim to be a League One side within 5 years.

Longer term, establish ourselves as a good League One club and at the least, challenge for a spot in the Championship quite regularly. This, along with establishing a good youth set up, training facilities and an increase in attendances to over 7500 week in week out. I think we can achieve more with the right exposure which will come with the takeover but this would be a realistic goal.
This seems realistic to me. I love the idea of sprinting through the leagues but Coral's 20-1 is missing a 0 to get me interested in the bet - and I think nearly all fans are sensible enough to know that it's not going to be win after win after win, regardless of how excited we are now. But looking at our attendances with a frankly dire style of football and some fairly poor performances, I definitely think we could get close to five figures in League One, and hopefully two promotions in the next five years is at least a strong possibility.

Personally I do not want us to get promoted without being there. Will we be there this season ?
I feel sorry for Barrow and Harrogate fans as their teams got promoted without them being there.
I need to make up for the 1977 disappointment and the Wembley play-off defeat. That will not happen if I am not there with all our fans and the team.
So if it has to wait until next season so be it.
It's been too long not to witness any success.

If we were in the Championship we'd average over 10k, providing we had the capacity (we would). A good number of teams would bring 5k or more away fans.

Lord Derfel et al: What a silly, selfish statement? No time for idealistic bullshine! We are living in an imperfect world of Covid-19! Who cares whether you or any other fans are there! I would take promotion out of this league at any cost whether or not there are any fans present! Barrow & Harrogate fans would surely have taken that when last season ended!

The Wrexham gateway project has taken another step forward with applications put in to demolish the old countrywide and dickens garage. Hopefully the build of the new kop will happen as we hopefully start rising up the leagues.

While i agree in terms of real football decisions i think it would work to have the fans represented when it comes to matters such as the naming of our new all seater stand on the kop for example or the possibility of a new mascot. Funnily enough i do not see why RP could not be used for Polls etc provided the club was clear that it was them who were organizing it - as we see today with some very helpful individuals who come on here.
As previously stated the DSA would also have to be permanently represented and they are of course also fans. I know you agree on DSA by the way.

Not for me. I don't care as long as we go up, I just want us out of this league. We will be there to see promotion out of L2

I agree with you, we need promotion regardless of the prevailing circumstances, but I have sympathy with Lord Derfel's view.

Football is empty without being able to attend.

Anyway, its moot as we ain't going nowhere this season, except possibly down.
