Whilst I appreciate that those who don't back the WST won't want to give them a penny, the only way you can actually affect change is by becoming a member and voting.

I've not always been a member. I signed up initially to get priority tickets for the Stoke FA Cup game and let it lapse. I rejoined late last year which is a bit fortunate as I have been eligible to vote for this.

It would have taken something special for me to vote the Trust out however, their actions over the past 12-18 months (particularly re-appointing Keates) plus the strength of the bid from R&R deems this an absolute no-brainer.

During the meeting, the only person to speak against was to say the WST hadn't negotiated the best deal for the WST (rather than the club). Presumably a relation of Paul Cox given the same surname and same argument elsewhere. Surprised others didn't state their issues given some of the shit-stirring from elsewhere and how it's a "terrible deal".

One of the biggest mistakes in politics at the moment is that those on the side that have lost a vote are not engaged and there opinions are just ignored.

There will be people who vote no and hopefully they will be made to feel as much a part of the club as those that voted yes, and of course all the millions of fans we will gain globally.

By the way is it just me waking up in cold sweats with only the number 74.9% going round in my head.

I wouldn’t expect NO voters to put their heads above the parapet and subject themselves to abuse.

Assuming most members vote, it seems inconceivable that around 450 to 500 would vote no, but until Monday we won’t be able to fully be prepared for the enjoyment of the ride ahead.

I cannot think of any credible reason to vote No (against) but its a personal thing that nobody has to justify IMO.
