Default Ifor Williams Trailers

A big-hearted trailer firm has come to the rescue of a GP practice that desperately needed a separate clinical area to assess patients with Covid-19 symptoms.

A big well done to them, nice to have a fair bit of positively around the club. I'm told they're looking to start producing these assessment rooms, it won't be a one off.

They’re fabulous aren’t they. Great business and let’s face it guys, we owe them big time. They’ve done a lot for our club.

I know it's unlikely to happen, but I really hope we offer them the chance to remain our shirt sponsor next season at the same rate they've been paying.

They've stuck with us through some bloody difficult times and I know a lot of their workforce are devoted fans.

I'm probably too soft to be a successful commercial director, but I hope there's a really strong gesture of good will to IW Trailers from the new owners.

Agree with this, we should then be looking after IW Trailers as they supported us before all of this
Need to support the companies who invested in us,to help them in difficult times

Appreciate I'll be in the minority here potentially... But we have to move on from this sentimental mindset.

Faced with a main sponsor deal potentially worth significantly more than our existing one, we have to go with the one which maximises our competitive edge.

I really don’t think as much as it’s nice to have local firms give us a few Bob for sponsorship here and there that we will be seeing half as many iconic local boards up around y cae ras , when this take over is done the money will be rolling in from world wide sponsors ie aviation gin etc i should imagine . it might be sentimentally sad but we will have big money coming in like we could never have imagined in our wildest dreams, of which will set the financial foundations for years to come so don’t be too upset when Ivor might not be on the front of our shirt next season I cannot wait for the ride

Agree with this.

Ivor Williams are getting an unbelievable deal from R&R's involvement for the rest of this season for the no doubt modest amount they pay to be our main shirt sponsor so they're quids in

Unfortunately they'll have to get in the queue next season.

We can't afford to be sentimental about this

Thankfully we will be run by professionals from now on who won't have an ounce of sentiment. Business is business as they say
