That essentially if they sell it they have to include the same conditions regarding not moving the club, honouring Gresford etc

I guess this is the best chance at a proper ceo and proper marketing. It’s probably financially our best chance of survival too by the looks of the books.

I’ve had prem supporting mates expressing an interest which might be a sign of things to come.

Best find my vote email...
I’ve voted for, as I believe in the dream. Yes I have concerns and my question regarding what happens if when they lose interest. They’ve said fans will be involved. I’m not naive to believe we will have the club back for a couple peppercorns, but let’s see what this ride takes us. I find RP posters views as usual interesting , 4 play offs and 3 Wembley finals in fans ownership is failure, but 5 promotions in 140 years of private ownership is not failure. We can all see that each season 1 or 2 clubs in our division are successful, all others fail. Success is never guaranteed . Fans ownership has helped our club survive and just missed out, reminding us miss , or 1 win v Orient. I think the vote will be overwhelming in favour, and WST has done a valuable job over the years in making our club a valuable asset.

If you are a member and don’t cast your vote either way, you really want to ask yourself why did you join? Even if you joined for a season ticket discount as most only have done it means you are still a supporter, so get your choice in.

You clearly were not a fan during 70s and 80s if you regard that as failure? Good God what a team we had then
And you failure to mention that WST took us to our lowest ever finishing position and you regard that as success?

Fan since 1968. MrHightownBrymbo I have enjoyed the journey since then in different ways ! My point is success is never guaranteed, with only 5 promotions in that time- yes very enjoyable. Whether the lowest position since 1920 was ALL WST is like saying our promotion of 78 was all PryceGriffiths.
Anyway time to move on . We are all Wrexham fans . Have a great day zero HightownBrymboRed

I take your point WR and the trust did indeed do a great job in saving the club and we have gone close a few times. But let's make the comparison clearer - it's 4 promotions from tier 4 to tier 3 and one promotion from tier 3 to tier 2 (not to mention serious cup runs) vs 4 failed promotion play offs from tier 5 and cup success against tier 5/6 level opponents. It's not just about what we have won or not, its about the level at which you compete that defines success or failure. And we just finished in the lowest position in living memory last season.

Don't remember the 70s but we weren't very good in the 80s

Nope. If you don’t believe in Trust ownership then you wouldn’t be a member in any case. They also didn’t let new members join after it was revealed who it was.

Pryce Griffiths wasn't the chairman in 78 - it was Fred Tomlinson.

Our worst ever finish - last season was after 11 years of non league football - the vast majority of it under trust ownership so yes all down to WST.
