A non league journeyman manager like Gary Mills? I would try to bring Mellon back from Scotland, took Fleetwood up, Tranmere up, and experience higher up of taking Shrewsbury up..

Yeah Mellon might fit the bill.

Mills failed but that doesn't mean every manager who has got a team promoted will be exactly like mills.
Besides we have had every 'category' of manager and they've all failed.
