Any ideas? I thought after a certain date any debts were now the new owners responsibility? I'm guessing these reserves are WST ones and again I don't remember any mention of using them to plug the gap.

I wouldn't say projecting to run out of money mid season suggest a well run business, so much for cutting our cloth accordingly.
Your blaming the Trust for not holding money back in case of a pandemic, is that right!

So you don't agree you reduce the budget accordingly and project for the worst possible outcome, no fans in the ground. Something that's been warned about since very early on in the pandemic.

Furloughing key commercial staff, reducing income further and as far as I know paying the 20% top up for those furloughed.

Not fore seeing that fans would have less money to burn to help prop up the club.

All the signs of a badly run business.

I don’t know. But we are living in extraordinary times. You are consistently wise with hindsight.

I’m sure you’re also an expert in tv production so I’m looking forward to your critiquing of the tv show.

Hindsight? I was saying it at the time as were many other's.

Diehard WST supporters were saying we'd always cut our cloth accordingly as did a director to me...

Next season's cloth would have been cut. There you go.

We're in a pandemic which means our main source of income (paying fans) stopped. Every single club is losing income - even those in the premier league. The amazing thing is that we are still a viable business, takeover or not. That's something to be celebrated. Looking at the accounts we are an exceedingly well run business, like it or not.
